448 Diamond Street

The Diamond street residence is a single-family home, completed by Webb Construction in 2013. A rare ground-up build in San Francisco, the architects took advantage of the building’s steep downhill lot to create a vertical floor plan—using the building’s three floors to offer both space and intimacy. The materials and details give the exterior luxury with balance, giving spatial and material distinction to the various levels of the home. Features such as a switchback stair that leads to the bedroom suites and large open spaces maximize thepotential of the home’s interior. The property's deck and backyard were designed and built to offer theneighborhood’s dramatic hill views, while integrating the interior and exterior of the home.
